Roshane Adams will be sentenced next week for assaulting an 81-year-old man in an attempted robbery.
On September 19, 2022, Adams and an accomplice entered Steve Lovence’s tailor shop on New Street.
Adams, armed with a cutlass, demanded money from Lovence.
When Lovence said he had no cash, Adams struck him in the torso and fled. Adams was later arrested and has pleaded guilty.
His sentencing is set for July 17.
