Requirements for Special ID Card for General Elections 2026

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — April 29th, 2026 —Electors who apply to replace their expired Voter’s ID Card will be issued a Special Identification Card (special ID) at the Registration Units within the Constituencies on Thursday 30thApril 2026 – Election Day. 

The Registration Units will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.to facilitate this process.

Electors are reminded that they must bring the following:

• A passport-size photograph

• A valid government-issued identification

For electors with lost/stolen VALID Voter’s ID Card, the process to replace these cards will take place at our Headquaters in the David Shoul Building located on the Queen Elizabeth Highway (former US Embassy now Passport Office) on the 2nd floor. Applicants should come prepared with the following:

• A valid government-issued identification

• A passport-size photograph

Please note that the Special ID document will be retained at the Polling Stations after use on Election Day. -END-
