Rawdon Turner Vows to Deliver Community Hub for Pares
Senator Rawdon Turner, the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) caretaker for St. Peter, has pledged to establish a community center in Pares if elected in the upcoming by-election.
In a social media post, Mr. Turner described the proposed Pares Community Center as a vital hub for fostering growth, opportunity, and social connection.
“This center will be a hub for growth, opportunity, and connection—something our community truly deserves,” he wrote.
Mr. Turner called on residents to play an active role in bringing the project to fruition, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration.
“Together, as neighbors and stakeholders, we have the power to bring this vision to life. Your ideas, your input, and your support are essential,” he added.
The community center forms part of Mr. Turner’s broader vision for improving infrastructure and strengthening community ties in the constituency. He urged residents to join him in the effort, concluding: “Let’s get to work—together.”
The by-election in St. Peter is set to be a closely contested race, with Mr. Turner’s focus on community development likely to be a key campaign issue.
