Prime Minister Gaston Browne has expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm following an extraordinary voter turnout in the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) primary held in St. Phillip’s North.

The voter participation in the primary was notably high, with registrants, net of claims and objections, exceeding 900 voters.

In his statement, Prime Minister Browne praised the community’s active involvement.

He remarked, “An extremely impressive voter participation in the ABLP primary in St. Phillip’s North. Registrants, net of claims and objections, exceeded 900 voters. This is 300, or 50 percent more participants than the 615 votes garnered by the UPP candidate in the 2023 General Elections. ABLP’s resilient ascendancy.”

“Thank you for your confidence and trust in Gaston Browne & Team Labour,” Browne stated, underlining the party’s ongoing dedication to the nation’s well-being with the hashtag #SaferwithLabour.
