Police Continue Investigation into Body Found at Old Ottos School Compound
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, February 3, 2026
Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a male body on the compound of the Old Ottos School shortly after midday on Monday, February 2.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was discovered in the back of an abandoned Hyundai Tucson motor jeep.
The individual was found partially dressed, wearing long blue jeans and black socks, and without a shirt.
The body was pronounced dead at approximately 2:25 p.m by a medical doctor, who arrived at the scene.
Police are now treating the matter as a suspicious death and are actively working to ascertain the full identity of the deceased, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The police are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist with this investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3931, or call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).
