Plans are underway to expand the pilot program for extended secondary school hours, with implementation in additional schools targeted for September 2025. Education Minister Daryll Matthew outlined the gradual approach, highlighting ongoing assessments and adjustments based on the initial rollout at Sir Novelle Richards Academy (SNRA) and Glanvilles Secondary School.

Currently, the two schools follow staggered schedules, with SNRA extending hours on Mondays and Wednesdays and Glanvilles on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This phased introduction allows the Ministry to address challenges and fine-tune the initiative before broader implementation.
