Patrick C. Whyte Cup Finals Set for Kickoff Today

Excitement builds as Princess Margaret School (PMS) and ABICE prepare to battle for supremacy in the Patrick C. Whyte Cup Male Under-20 football finals, set for 3:30 PM today at the Antigua Recreation Grounds.

PMS advanced to the final with a 3-1 win over All Saints Secondary School (ASSS), thanks to goals from Greg Williams, Jermarion Edwards, and Dahvia Hughes. Meanwhile, ABICE secured their spot with a dominant 5-0 victory over Antigua State College (ASC), highlighted by Karique Knight’s hat-trick and additional goals from Deante Anthony and Jahmar Malone.

The third-place match, featuring reigning champions ASC against ASSS, will precede the final.

Golden Boot contenders include PMS’ Greg Williams, who leads the race with 13 goals. The award will also be contested in the Under-16 division, where Alan Henry of PMS is the frontrunner with 18 goals.

Tickets for today’s action are $10.
