SamuelFields Consulting Group (SFCG), a regional collective of business and financial experts, launched 2025 with the Pathway to Prosperity Financial Wellness Webinar, an event designed to ignite economic empowerment across the region.

Held during Financial Wellness Month, this initiative exemplifies SFCG’s commitment to making financial literacy accessible to all. With a dynamic, interactive format, the event proved that knowledge can be both powerful and engaging.

Empowering Financial Resilience

Bringing together visionary thinkers, seasoned financial experts, and trailblazing entrepreneurs from the Eastern Caribbean region, the webinar inspired attendees to take control of their financial future and chart a course toward lasting prosperity.

They were provided with the tools and strategies needed to achieve financial stability and independence. Through insightful discussions, participants were guided on:

            •           Creating personalized financial roadmaps to achieve specific goals.

            •           Setting actionable short- and long-term financial objectives.

            •           Mastering saving, budgeting, and investing as pillars for growth.

            •           Overcoming financial challenges through resilience, risk management, and entrepreneurship.

Participants walked away energized and ready to make financial wellness a key pillar of their 2025 resolutions, armed with practical steps to build wealth and secure their financial future.

Blending Wisdom with Inspiration: The ProsperiTea Theme

A highlight of the event was the unique ProsperiTea theme, championed by Grandma Mirie, SFCG’s Chief Kindness Officer (CKO).

Known for her blend of warmth and wisdom, Grandma Mirie shared her philosophy: “Managing your finances is like brewing the perfect cup of tea—balance is essential.

Too much or too little of any element, and the outcome suffers.”

To reinforce this message, attendees were gifted a signature ProsperiTea blend, symbolizing the harmony of saving, spending, and investing. This creative touch left participants with more than just knowledge—it provided a daily reminder to pursue balance in life and finances.

Spotlight on Regional Investment Opportunities

In a strategic collaboration with the Bank of St. Lucia, SFCG highlighted the untapped potential of regional investment opportunities through the Bank of St. Lucia Global Investment Fund. Shaiiede Kallicharan, Senior Fund Manager, outlined the bank’s portfolio of investment options.

There were also two engaging panel discussions that addressed:

Financial Risk and Resilience: Experts from the insurance industry also shared their insights. Eswick Sullivan of SAGICOR and Daren Matthew Ward from Brysons Insurance, shared strategies to manage risk and protect assets, offering valuable advice about how to navigate uncertainty with confidence.

Entrepreneurship: Inspiring entrepreneurs, Dominican, Luana Laurent and Antiguan, Chaz Samuel, revealed how they have turned their passions into profitable ventures, motivating attendees to transform dreams into reality.

“Some of today’s greatest innovations—like GPS, the light bulb, and Amazon—began with solving problems. Wealth grows from nurturing ‘likkle ideas,’ staying open-minded, trusting possibilities and boldly taking the first step on a pathway to prosperity,” said Megan Samuel-Fields, CEO of SFCG.

Celebrating Legacy with the ProsperiTea Scholarships

To honor Grandma Mirie’s legacy of empowerment and innovation, SFCG introduced the ProsperiTea Scholarships, granting five small-scale entrepreneurs free access to the webinar. These scholarships focus on equipping participants with financial knowledge to expand their operations, particularly in agriculture and local production, fostering sustainable growth across the region.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to creating opportunities and honoring Grandma Mirie’s values of resilience and kindness,” shared Megan Samuel-Fields, CEO of SFCG.

An Inspired Vision for the Future

The Pathway to Prosperity Webinar achieved far more than educating participants—it set a precedent for transformative change. By combining expert insights, creative inspiration, and actionable strategies, SFCG has laid the groundwork for a financially empowered Caribbean.

As the region embraces the promise of 2025, the message from SFCG is clear: financial wellness isn’t just a goal—it’s a pathway to legacy, growth, and collective prosperity.
