Three men accused of killing Customs Officer Nigel Christian are expected to go on trial Thursday, February 19, in the High Court before Justice Rajiv Persaud.

Lasean Bully of Cashew Hill, Wayne Thomas of Hatton and Saleim Harrigan of Greenbay have all pleaded not guilty to the 2020 murder.

Christian, 44, was abducted from his McKinnons home on July 10, 2020. His body was later found in the Thibou’s area with multiple gunshot wounds.

The men were charged in April 2021, nearly a year after the killing. The case progressed from the All Saints Magistrate’s Court to the High Court and was originally listed for the January 2023 assizes but was delayed. They were arraigned in January 2024 before Justice Ann-Marie Smith, where they maintained their innocence.

The matter, initially scheduled to begin Wednesday, was postponed to Thursday.
