Mr Lewis said the distribution, which is nearing completion, is aimed at supporting less-fortunate households during the Christmas season, a period he described as a time for giving back.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr Lewis expressed gratitude for what he called the opportunity to serve the community, noting that the level of need continues to outstrip available resources.
“As usual, the demand is greater than the supply,” he said.
He also thanked donors who contributed to the programme, as well as volunteers who assisted with packing and delivering the food packages, describing their support as vital to the effort.
The Christmas distribution has become a regular feature in the constituency, providing seasonal relief to hundreds of residents each year.
