St. Mary’s South MP Hon. Kelvin Simon has pledged to address pressing issues in the constituency as he welcomed 2025 with a message of resilience and hope.
Highlighting ongoing struggles with deteriorating roads, water shortages, and under-resourced facilities like the Johnston’s Point pharmacy and Bolans’ clinic, Simon called for urgent action to improve the quality of life for residents.
Simon reaffirmed his commitment to promises made during the by-election, including upgrades to Bolans’ playfield, improved school infrastructure, and financial support for small businesses.
While recognizing the government’s reports of economic growth, he noted that many in St. Mary’s South have yet to benefit.
“This year holds the promise of new opportunities for our community,” Simon said, urging residents to unite and work towards a brighter future. His message emphasized the strength of St. Mary’s South, grounded in its people’s resilience and determination.
