Hon. Charles ‘Max’ Fernandez, Minister of Tourism, Investment, Civil Aviation, and Transportation, led the Antiguan delegation at the CTO Caribbean Week in New York, which began on Monday.
Accompanied by Mr. Colin James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, and other key officials, the team participated in a Networking Breakfast and the Caribbean Business and Tourism Marketing Symposium, focusing on the role of Artificial Intelligence in tourism marketing.
The event also featured the Caribbean Media Awards and Media Market Place. The delegation will engage in several meetings and media interviews throughout the week, highlighting 2024 as a significant year for Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism sector.
