Mary John Voted Female Person of the Year 2024

Mary John has been named Female Person of the Year for 2024 following a public vote facilitated by Twin Island Media.

Ms. John received 1,138 votes, securing the top spot ahead of Isabel Nicholas, who garnered 525 votes, and Joshuanette Francis, with 481 votes. Kimberly Percival and D. Gisele Isaac rounded out the top five, receiving 218 and 93 votes respectively.

The award recognises Ms. John’s significant humanitarian efforts and the impact she has had on her community. Twin Island Media praised her dedication and highlighted the positive influence she continues to have on the lives of many.

The final tally was announced at 4:00 PM on 5 January, reflecting the voices of those who participated in the vote. Twin Island Media commended all the nominees for their contributions, noting the strength and diversity of leadership among the finalists.
