Man Stabbed to Death in Newfield Identified as 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles

Victim in New Field Incident Identified
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Tuesday, 17 March 2026
The Police have formally identified the male victim who died as a result of an alleged stabbing incident at Lion’s Estate in New Field as 38-year-old Daniel Lewis of Glanvilles.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred sometime during the early hours of Monday, 16 March 2026.
It is alleged that the deceased entered the home of a resident in the New Field area, during which a confrontation ensued.
During the altercation, Mr. Lewis reportedly sustained a wound to the lower part of his body.
Emergency personnel later responded to the scene; however, he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:38 a.m.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding this incident are ongoing.
