A man from Villa, 24, is currently receiving medical treatment after being shot in St. John’s on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. when a 22-year-old suspect reportedly approached the victim and fired at him, striking him in the upper body.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and is now the focus of a police search. It’s believed that both individuals have been embroiled in a long-standing conflict.
