The earthquake struck at 2:03 am local time (6:03 am UTC) with its epicenter located at latitude 17.36N and longitude 62.99W, at a depth of 31 kilometers.
The quake’s proximity to regional cities included:
- Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis: 29 kilometers west-northwest
- Brades, Montserrat: 107 kilometers northwest
- Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: 129 kilometers west-northwest
Residents in nearby areas may have felt the tremor, though there are no immediate reports of damage or injury.
