LETTER: Repeated Break-Ins in Cashew Hill and Lack of Police Patrols

I am writing to bring urgent attention to a very troubling situation happening in the Cashew Hill area. Yesterday, there was yet another break-in at Shabo Nedwell home, which has left not only me but the entire neighborhood shaken and fearful.
This is especially alarming because her house was already broken into just last month by four armed men. Since then, the area has clearly become a target for criminals, yet there has been little to no visible police presence or patrols in the community. It is extremely unsettling to know that despite repeated incidents and clear danger, nothing significant is being done to protect the residents.
We are being robbed, our sense of safety is being taken away, and it feels like our cries for help are not being taken seriously. Many of us no longer feel safe in our own homes. We live in constant fear, wondering who will be next. This young lady has to replace her door again and her valuable items. I can only imagine how traumatic this must be again.
I am pleading for this issue to be highlighted publicly so that the relevant authorities will take action before someone gets seriously hurt or worse. We should not have to wait for a tragedy before something is done.
