


Jewel Andrew, Antigua and Barbuda Cricket Association at just 17, has had an exceptional 2024 in cricket. Representing the West Indies in the ICC U-19 World Cup, he was the top scorer, amassing 207 runs, including a high of 130, with a strike rate above 109.
In the ABCA Super 40 Tournament, he scored 184 runs at an average of 61.33.
His regional performance with the Leeward Islands included a solid 87 and 48 against Trinidad & Tobago.
In the CPL, he made a mark with a half-century on debut. His achievements led to a call-up to the West Indies senior ODI squad.
All of this has earned him Sportsman of the year.
The Cabinet of Antigua & Barbuda has awarded Mr Andrew an annual US $20,000 scholarship at any regional or international educational institution for a duration of 4 Years.
