Hopeful Hearts Foundation Appointed National Leader for Good Deeds Day, a Global Movement, in Antigua and Barbuda

Hopeful Hearts Foundation (HHF) is proud to announce its appointment as the official National Leader for Good Deeds Day in Antigua and Barbuda, joining a global movement dedicated to promoting kindness, volunteerism, and civic engagement.
Good Deeds Day is a global movement celebrated annually in more than 115 countries across six continents, inspiring millions of people to volunteer, give back, and strengthen their communities through meaningful acts of service. The movement brings together governments, schools, businesses, non-governmental organizations, faith-based institutions, and volunteers under one shared mission: to make the world a better place through good deeds.
Within the Caribbean, the movement continues to expand under the leadership of Diane Felicien of Saint Lucia, the Caribbean Regional Leader for Good Deeds Day. The Caribbean network currently includes Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba,with additional countries expressing interest in joining the movement.
As the official National Leader for Antigua and Barbuda, Hopeful Hearts Foundation will coordinate the country’s participation in Good Deeds Day by working alongside government ministries, schools, businesses, community organizations, faith-based groups, and volunteers to inspire a nationwide culture of kindness, civic responsibility, and service.
The Foundation will lead a series of initiatives designed to encourage volunteerism and community engagement through Good Deeds Day while also promoting the spirit of Pásalo Pa’lante – Billions Acts of Kindness and Pay It Forward. Planned activities will include environmental projects, community clean-up campaigns, school outreach programmes, youth leadership activities, volunteer recognition initiatives, national days of service, kindness campaigns, and collaborative service projects that create meaningful and lasting impact throughout Antigua and Barbuda.

Hopeful Hearts Foundation looks forward to working alongside the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, the private sector, civil society organizations, schools, and volunteers to make Good Deeds Day a national celebration of service while positioning Antigua and Barbuda as a leader in volunteerism and community engagement throughout the Caribbean.
