The Heritage Trust (Antigua & Barbuda) Inc. invites the public to an enlightening evening of historical exploration on July 23rd at the Government House. The event, themed “Embracing Our History,” promises a captivating journey through Antigua’s rich past, featuring two distinguished speakers.

Dr. Reginald Murphy, an esteemed expert in heritage and archaeology, will present on the “Prehistory of Antigua and Its First People.” With numerous accolades including CN, MBE, GOH, and a PhD, Dr. Murphy is well-regarded for his extensive research and knowledge of Antigua’s early history.

Following Dr. Murphy, Ms. Agnes C. Meeker, a renowned author and MBE recipient, will delve into the “Plantations of Antigua in the Colonial Era.” Her insights into this critical period of Antigua’s history are expected to provide a compelling narrative of the island’s colonial past.
