Food Handlers’ Training Announced with New Dates and Strict Registration Guidelines

The Ministry of Health, through the Central Board of Health (CBH), is notifying all food handlers and prospective food handlers of the following important details regarding the upcoming Food Handlers’ Training:

Registration: All food handlers must register in person at the Central Board of Health located on Upper Church Street. Registration hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Documents Required:
New applicants must provide two passport-sized photographs.
If renewing a Food Handler’s Badge (issued from 2018 onwards), you must also provide these photographs.
Registration Fee: There is a $50.00 registration fee to access the training.
Rescheduling Fee: A $25.00 fee will be charged if a participant misses their scheduled training and needs to reschedule.
Capacity Limit: Each training session is limited to 90 participants.
Venue: Multi-Purpose Centre, Perry Bay.
Dates & Times:
New: November 7th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Retraining: November 14th and 21st, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
No children are allowed at the training sessions.
