Small businesses in St. Phillip’s North will welcome scores of customers to the community as the United Progressive Party (UPP) hosts the Small Business Pull Up this weekend. This popular Party initiative highlights the importance of small businesses as drivers of the economy.

On Saturday July 13, patrons will gather at the St. Stephen’s Anglican Church on Seaton’s Main Road at 2p.m. The procession will venture through the community to support various businesses and highlight their offerings via social media.

UPP Caretaker in St. Phillip’s North, Senator Alex Browne and his team, have put together an exciting itinerary to patronize chefs, crafters, farmers and other vendors to help spark economic activity in the area.

“We must support our small enterprises in order to keep our economy strong. Our small businesses in the East are known for their creativity, friendliness and personal service. We look forward to generating new customers and seeing more money circulating within the local community,” Senator Browne said.

The development of small businesses is high on the UPP agenda. The Small Business Pull Up initiative is in line with the Party’s ethos that small enterprises can play a big role in driving the economy and strengthening community spirit.
