DOMINICA: Body of Missing 16-Year-Old Jerbia Paul Found in Capuchin

The body of missing 16-year-old Jerbia Paul has been found in the Capuchin area of Dominica, bringing an end to a nationwide search for the teenager.
Paul had been missing since 24 July, prompting an extensive search by police, relatives and members of the public.
According to Dominica News Online, police sources confirmed that her body was discovered on Wednesday morning. Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances of her death.
A male police officer was previously taken into custody and questioned in connection with Paul’s disappearance. Police had indicated that he was believed to be the last person seen with the teenager before she went missing.
No charges have been announced.
The investigation remains ongoing, with further information expected from the police.
