Desley Gardner recently attended the World Heritage Young Professionals Forum in New Delhi, India, representing the National Parks and the Antigua Naval Dockyard World Heritage Site.
She participated in a panel alongside World Heritage site managers and young professionals, including William Richardson (VOLU, Ghana), Persis Farooqy (Kaziranga National Park, India), and Hassan Aldawsari (Heritage Commission, Saudi Arabia).
The panel focused on youth engagement at World Heritage sites, discussing introductions and site descriptions, youth engagement strategies, and the enablers and challenges faced. Well done, Desley, for representing Antigua and Barbuda and the National Parks Authority!
