Meet our Scholar 🇬🇧🇦🇬 – Annetta Jackson
Annetta D. Jackson is a Crown Counsel within the Attorney General’s Chambers where among a vast range of matters, she litigates in Child Protection Matters and supports the Human Rights Portfolio. She previously worked within the Directorate of Gender Affairs in the Ministry of Social Transformation supporting the Gender Based Violence Response and Referral Pathway.
Having technical experience in Gender Mainstreaming, Annetta serves on various Government Technical Gender Advisory Committees including the Expert Validation Team for the National Gender (and Social Inclusion) Policy and Action Plan as well as the Gender and Environment Social Safeguards Advisory Committee.
For the past 4 years Annetta has been involved in Gender Justice Advocacy through her work with the local NGO Intersect Antigua and is a former Black Feminist Fund Fellow.
Annetta will pursue an MSc in Gender, Policy and Inequalities at London School of Economics
