


Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Expo Set for April 23–28 in John Hughes
The scenic village of John Hughes, Antigua, will host the Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Expo from April 23 to 28, 2025, as part of the Commonwealth Games King’s Baton Relay (Glasgow 2026).
Running daily from 9 AM to 4 PM, the expo invites the public to engage with the theme “People. Plastic. Purpose.” in a vibrant and interactive setting aimed at tackling ocean plastic pollution.
Highlights of the event include eco-education activities, recycling demonstrations, youth-led climate action projects, and sustainable lifestyle booths. Organizers are calling on schools, community groups, and organizations to schedule special visits and take part in the week-long initiative.
