Charity Book Launch Raises Funds for After-School Enrichment Programme

Author William Henry successfully hosted the charity launch of his book, A Glimpse Into The Past, at 10:00 AM on 18 February 2026 at the Antigua Public Library.
Held in the morning, the event drew approximately 40 attendees and fostered a thoughtful atmosphere of reflection, cultural appreciation, and community engagement. Through book sales, a total of $500.00 Eastern Caribbean Dollars was raised in support of the Library’s After-School Enrichment Programme, reinforcing the author’s commitment to education and youth development.
During the launch, Henry spoke about the inspiration behind A Glimpse Into The Past, highlighting the importance of preserving the stories, struggles, and triumphs that have shaped Antigua and Barbuda. His presentation underscored the belief that history is not merely recorded in books, but lived through generations.
