Brittany Jno-Baptiste will stand trial on November 18 for the alleged murder of Jane Finch in 2021.

Jno-Baptiste, in her early 20s, is accused of fatally stabbing Finch, a resident of Piccadilly, on the night of October 4, 2021.

Authorities found Jno-Baptiste at Finch’s home, where Finch’s body was discovered with multiple stab wounds.

Moments before her death, Finch had contacted the police and posted on social media, seeking help with an intruder.

Initially diagnosed with a psychological disorder, Jno-Baptiste underwent months of treatment before being deemed fit to enter a plea.

She pleaded not guilty earlier this year, and the trial date was set yesterday.
