A Bethesda man is now in police custody following the alleged stabbing of a 14-year-old girl in Lightfoot on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old suspect, who surrendered with his attorney Thursday morning, is being questioned about the incident in which the teenager sustained a non-life-threatening back injury.
The altercation reportedly arose when the man, visiting the home where his daughter stays with a guardian, became upset upon not finding her there.
