In Barbados, the government is set to launch an app that will allow citizens to report public service issues such as potholes, water outages, waste disposal and other concerns directly from their mobile devices.
The platform, called Pearly App, is to be launched on Tuesday.
The Mia Mottley administration says users will be able to submit photos, videos, written descriptions and location data.

Reports will be routed to the relevant government agencies for follow-up and resolution.
The platform also includes features for tracking issues and submitting emergency reports.
The administration says it’s part of its push to modernise public service delivery and improve citizen engagement through digital technology.
