Antigua Welcomes 6 Ships and More Than 10,000 Cruise Passengers in Busy Port Day

A strong showing of cruise traffic brought more than 10,000 passengers and crew ashore in Antigua and Barbuda, as multiple vessels docked across the island in a single day, boosting activity for local businesses and tourism operators.
According to Antigua Cruise Port, four ships filled St. John’s Harbour, while a total of six cruise vessels called at ports across the island. Two additional luxury ships were docked in Falmouth Harbour, contributing to the day’s high visitor numbers.
The influx created increased opportunities for taxi drivers, tour guides, merchants and other stakeholders, as passengers moved through the capital and surrounding communities.
Officials said the steady flow of cruise arrivals continues to support economic activity, reinforcing the importance of the sector to Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism-driven economy.
