Exceptional students from Antigua and Barbuda who excelled in the June 2023 CSEC examinations were honoured in a ceremony held Thursday evening.
Among them, D’Aundre Samuel of St Joseph’s Academy stood out as the top performer, having achieved remarkable success in 23 subjects with 21 grade ones and two grade twos.
St Joseph’s Academy had further cause for celebration with Adrian Judnarine securing the second spot, achieving 19 grade ones and seven grade twos from 26 subjects.
Jointly in third place were Stephanie Archibald and Tianna Bretney from Baptist Academy, both attaining 18 grade ones after completing 20 subjects each.
Antigua’s Education Minister Daryll Matthrew, offered words of encouragement saying “our world is one that needs your talents now more than ever. It needs you passion and your commitment.”
