Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation to Host 10th National Swimming Championships This Weekend

The Antigua and Barbuda Swimming Federation will host its 10th National SwimmingChampionships over the weekend, Friday, 20th February through Sunday, 22nd February. The Vipers Pool Facility in Longfords will come alive on:
Friday at 5:45 pm
Saturday at 5:15, after a short opening ceremony @ 4:45 pm Sunday at 9:45 am.
Athletes will have the last opportunity to qualify for selection on the National Team for the 39th CARIFTA Swimming Championship, which will be held in Martinique over the Easter weekend, April 2 – 9.
Swimmers from the four local clubs and a visiting club from the British Virgin Islands will be participating in the full range of swim distances and events. This is an Age Group Championship with swimmers from the 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, and 18 & over age categories.
The general public is invited to the championships to witness our local swim athletes at their best.
Food and drinks will be on sale. Come and have a good time while supporting our athletes.
The weekend entry pass for adults is $25.

The entry fee for each session is adults – $10, children aged 5-12 – $5, and free for those under 5 years.
