Antigua and Barbuda Holistic Coalition awarded Mill Reef Fund grant for youth mental health programme

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua — The Antigua and Barbuda Holistic Coalition (ABHC) has received grant funding from the Mill Reef Fund to support its Youth Mental Health and Holistic Wellness Access Programme for 2026.
The funding will be used to expand access to mental health services for young people and families across Antigua and Barbuda, including counselling, assessments, emotional-literacy programmes and parent education.
According to ABHC, the programme is aimed at increasing early intervention and support for children and adolescents, while also strengthening family-based approaches to mental wellness.
The grant will also support youth mental health scholarships, parent and family wellness workshops, and youth emotional-literacy workshops as part of a broader effort to improve access to care.
ABHC expressed appreciation to the Mill Reef Fund for investing in initiatives focused on the mental health and wellbeing of young people and families in Antigua and Barbuda.
The organisation said additional announcements related to the programme are expected in the coming months.
