Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force to Aid Grenada Post-Hurricane Beryl

In response to Hurricane Beryl’s impact on Grenada, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force is set to deploy a team to assist their regional neighbor.

This mission, part of the Regional Security System and the Caribbean Disaster Response Unit, will address the damage in Petite Martinique and Carriacou.

The team comprises security personnel, drone-based damage assessment experts, search and rescue units, and emergency management specialists.

Additionally, the National Office of Disaster Services will gather emergency supplies in response to a request from the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA).
