Police Probe Possible Accomplice in Chantel’s Murder
Investigators suspect Angela Mejia did not act alone in the murder of nine-year-old Chantel Crump, but she has not provided evidence linking an unnamed male suspect to the crime.
Mejia, who has been charged with Crump’s murder, allegedly picked up the child on her way home from school, took her to Glanville, and later led police to her body in Weatherhills. She remains under maximum security at His Majesty’s Prison due to safety concerns.
While no charges have been filed against the suspected accomplice, authorities are intensifying efforts to gather evidence and determine all parties involved.
