Alex Browne Urges St. Philip’s North Residents to Prepare for March 16 By-Election

United Progressive Party candidate Alex Browne is encouraging residents of St. Philip’s North to ensure they are ready to vote in the March 16 by-election, urging constituents to confirm their voter identification cards ahead of polling day.
Speaking during an interview on Observer Radio’s Connecting with Dave Lester Payne, Browne reminded eligible voters that preparation is key to participating in the democratic process.
“Residents need to make sure they have their voter ID cards ready and that they are prepared for March 16,” Browne said, noting that strong voter participation is important for the future direction of the constituency.
The by-election will determine who represents St. Philip’s North in Parliament following the vacancy of the seat. Browne is contesting the election on behalf of the United Progressive Party against Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party candidate Randy Baltimore.
During the interview, Browne also outlined elements of his vision for the constituency, including improved healthcare services, expanded youth opportunities, upgrades to infrastructure, support for agriculture and the environment, and greater access to affordable housing.
He said residents should take the opportunity to participate in the electoral process and have their voices heard at the ballot box.
The March 16 by-election is expected to draw significant attention as both major parties intensify campaigning across the constituency in the days leading up to the vote.
