Additional Members Of The Income Tax Appeals Board Sworn In At Government House

Income Tax Appeals Board other members Ms Francine, Beulah Buckley Secretary and Member Denise Armstrong

On August 27, 2024, the Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, appointed two additional members and the secretary of the Income Tax Appeal Board.

The appointments were made on the advice of the Honourable Members of Cabinet in accordance with Section 60 of the Income Tax Act, Cap 212.

The Income Tax Appeal Board serves as a crucial body tasked with reviewing and adjudicating disputes related to tax assessments and decisions, ensuring fairness and transparency in the tax administration process in Antigua and Barbuda.

The ceremony took place at Government House, where the members and Secretary received their instruments of appointment from His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams.

Another member Mrs. Maureen Hyman was sworn in on August 8, 2024 and the final member Mrs. Laurie Freeland-Roberts will be sworn in at a later date.
