An urgent appeal has been issued for blood donations to assist Ruel Browne, lead singer of the Wadadli Revolution Band.
Organizers said Browne is urgently in need of blood and are encouraging healthy, eligible residents to donate.
Donations can be made at the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross Blood Bank in St. John’s. Donors are asked to inform staff that their blood donation is being made on Browne’s behalf.
Browne is known for his powerful performances and longstanding contribution to music in Antigua and Barbuda. The appeal described him as a friend, brother and ambassador for local music who has entertained audiences at Wadadli Nights and other major events.
People who are unable to donate are being encouraged to share the appeal with others.
“One donation can make a life-changing difference,” organizers said.
