The Antigua and Barbuda Volleyball Association (ABAVA) has announced the national men’s beach volleyball team that will represent the country at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from July 23 to 30.
The team comprises Raenor Sharpe and Miguel Peña-Lugo, with Olsen Joseph serving as head coach.
The tournament will provide the Antiguan and Barbudan pair with the opportunity to compete against some of the region’s top beach volleyball teams on one of the Caribbean’s premier multi-sport stages.
ABAVA thanked the Antigua and Barbuda National Olympic Committee (ABNOC) for its continued support of the country’s athletes and its role in facilitating the team’s participation at the Games.
The association also called on the public to support Sharpe, Peña-Lugo and Joseph as they represent Antigua and Barbuda in Santo Domingo.
