Twenty Young Footballers to Represent Antigua and Barbuda on Prestigious European Development Tour

St. John’s, Antigua – 3^rd June 2026 – Twenty of Antigua and Barbuda’s brightest young footballers are set to embark on an extraordinary journey this July as they represent the nation on the JETS FC European Development Tour 2026 in Poland.

From 12^th to 27^th July, the selected athletes will immerse themselves in a professional football environment, competing in six international matches while training under experienced coaches and engaging with clubs and football professionals.

The tour has been carefully designed to expose participants to the demands of elite football while fostering personal growth, discipline, leadership, and resilience.

The squad earned its place through a highly competitive Talent Identification and Football Development Programme hosted by JETS FC earlier this year.

Conducted by international coaches and football professionals, the four-day programme brought together promising young players from across Antigua and Barbuda before culminating in the selection of twenty athletes who demonstrated exceptional talent, commitment, and potential.

For these young footballers, the tour represents much more than international competition. It is an opportunity to broaden their horizons, experience different football cultures, challenge themselves against international opposition, and build relationships that could shape their futures both on and off the field.

The experience also provides invaluable exposure to professional standards that they will bring back to benefit their clubs, schools, and communities.
