HAPI Renovates Yorks Home Through Community Partnership

A family in Yorks has received a newly renovated home through the efforts of HAPI, with the project made possible through support from government officials, community partners and volunteers.
In a social media post, Inspector Raguette of Adopt A Family said the initiative is about more than repairing houses, describing it as an effort to strengthen communities across Antigua and Barbuda.

The organization thanked Prime Minister Gaston Browne and his government, along with Ministers Rawdon Turner, Charles Fernandez and Mary Baltimore, the Social Protection Board, and inmates of His Majesty’s Prison for contributing their time and support to the project.
Special recognition was also given to Tony Greener for donating the windows and doors used in the renovation.
Photos accompanying the post show the home’s transformation from a weathered structure to a fully renovated residence.
Inspector Raguette said HAPI remains committed to transforming lives one house at a time by providing assistance to families in need.
