Grade Six National Assessment Results to Be Released Live Friday

Thousands of students, parents and teachers across Antigua and Barbuda will learn the results of the 2026 Grade Six National Assessment on Friday when the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology hosts a live results broadcast.

The results will be announced at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3, and will be carried live on all ABS TV platforms, including television, Facebook and YouTube.

The programme will be hosted by Ercil Charles Jr., Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs at ABS TV and Radio, and will feature senior education officials, including Director of Education Clare Browne and Assistant Director of Education (Ag.), Measurement and Evaluation, Jewelle Gore-Hurst.

According to the Ministry, the broadcast will recognize the country’s top-performing students and schools while providing an overview of this year’s examination results.

Among the highlights to be announced are:

  • Top Student
  • Top Male Student
  • Top Female Student
  • Top Public School Student
  • Top 100 Students

The annual Grade Six National Assessment determines placement into secondary schools and is one of the most closely watched events on the national education calendar.

The Ministry has invited students, parents, teachers and the wider public to tune in as it celebrates the achievements of the nation’s primary school graduates.
