Baltimore Offers Scholarships for UWI Certificate Courses to St. Philip’s North Residents

Residents of St. Philip’s North have been invited to apply for scholarships being offered by MP Randy Baltimore to pursue certificate courses through the UWI Five Islands Campus Lifelong Learning Unit.
According to a notice posted by Baltimore, a limited number of scholarships will be available for courses being offered during the institution’s third-quarter programme, which runs from July 5 to Sept. 11.
The 10-week certificate courses cover a range of subjects, including strategic human resource management, project management, property management, crisis and risk management, leadership, Spanish, retail and merchandising, and artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Baltimore encouraged interested residents to complete the application form and submit all required supporting documents before the deadline.
Applications close at 4:30 p.m. on June 29.
The initiative is intended to provide residents with opportunities for professional and personal development through continuing education at the UWI Five Islands Campus.
