POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS IN CARTY’S HILL ROBBERY INVESTIGATION

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Friday, May 29, 2026

Police are appealing to the public for information as investigations continue into an alleged robbery that occurred at a residence in Carty’s Hill.

It was reported that around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, three masked male intruders dressed in dark clothing and allegedly armed with handguns, entered the property and robbed the occupant of her mobile phone, a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) System, along with a safe containing an undisclosed sum of money and several rounds of ammunition.

The Police are urging anyone with information that may assist in identifying the perpetrators or advancing the investigation to contact the Parham Police Station at 463-2060, the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913/3914, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is also reminding residents to take proactive measures to safeguard their homes and property.
Homeowners are encouraged to:

• Ensure all doors and windows are properly secured, especially when leaving the home unattended.
• Install adequate exterior lighting and security cameras where possible.
• Keep valuables, cash, and firearms securely stored and out of plain sight.
• Avoid sharing information about travel plans or valuable possessions on social media.
• Promptly report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities in their communities.
