Peetron of Antigua & Barbuda confirmed as Official International Award Nominee

Multi-genre singer Peetron Thomas of Antigua and Barbuda has been confirmed as an official nominee in the International Male Soloist category for the 29th Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards, set to take place in Houston, Texas.

The prestigious awards ceremony will run from February 18th to 21st, 2027, at the Houston Hobby Marriott, bringing together gospel artistes, ministries, and industry professionals from across the United States and around the world.

Peetron’s confirmation as an official international nominee marks a significant milestone in his musical journey, highlighting his versatility as a multi-genre artiste and his growing influence within the gospel and inspirational music space. His placement on the TGMEA international ballot positions him among a select group of global contenders recognized for excellence in ministry, performance, and artistic impact.

Founded by Pastor Larry Davies, the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards has built a long-standing reputation for celebrating gospel excellence across local, national, and international categories.

Organizers have announced that public voting opens on May 8th, 2026, and closes on June 8th, 2026. Supporters are encouraged to participate in the voting process, however all 19 categories must be voted for in order for a ballot to be valid.
