Community First Sponsors Panache Steel Orchestra With EC$8,000 for 2026 Panorama Campaign

Community First Co-operative Credit Union has donated EC$8,000 to Panache Steel Orchestra in support of the band’s 2026 Panorama campaign ahead of Carnival celebrations.

In a social media post, the credit union said it was “delighted” to support the steel orchestra as it prepares for the upcoming season.

“Steel pan music is at the heart of our culture, and we are honored to invest in the talented musicians who continue to keep this vibrant tradition alive,” the organization stated.

Community First also wished the orchestra success during the Carnival season, praising the group for bringing “energy, passion, and the sweet sound of steel to the stage.”

A presentation photo shared online showed representatives of the credit union alongside members of Panache Steel Orchestra during the cheque handover ceremony.

The sponsorship adds to ongoing corporate support for steel orchestras as bands intensify preparations for Panorama competitions during Antigua and Barbuda’s Carnival season.
