Selected Community Clinics Continue Extended Operating Hours, Ministry Reminds Public

The Ministry of Health is reminding the public that extended operating hours remain in effect at the Grays Farm Health Centre and the Clare Hall Health Centre as part of efforts to improve access to healthcare services.
Under the extended schedule, both clinics operate daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The ministry said the initiative allows residents greater access to medical care outside of traditional clinic hours and helps reduce pressure on emergency services.

Services available at the two facilities include general medical consultations, acute wound care and minor emergency care, treatment for lacerations, acute asthma exacerbations, dehydration and gastroenteritis, as well as care for uncontrolled chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes.
The Ministry of Health also noted that extended hours for the Brownes Avenue Health Center and the Villa Polyclinic are expected to be introduced at a later date.
Officials said the ministry remains committed to improving access to quality healthcare services across Antigua and Barbuda.
