Minister Visits Scene of Fatal Road Accident Involving NSWMA Worker

Health Minister Michael Joseph visited the scene of a fatal road accident on All Saints Road on Tuesday morning following the death of a beautification worker contracted by the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA).
Joseph, whose portfolio includes responsibility for the NSWMA, met with grieving relatives and offered condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of the deceased.
The worker reportedly died after being struck while carrying out roadside duties earlier in the day.

The minister also used the occasion to urge motorists to exercise greater care when driving near roadside crews and public workers.
He said the incident highlights the importance of vigilance, patience, and respect for individuals working along the nation’s roads.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
