WATCH: Vote Counting Begins in Barbuda, Walker takes early lead

Vote counting is now underway in Barbuda, with early indications showing incumbent Trevor Walker maintaining an edge for the Barbuda People’s Movement (BPM) over Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate Kendra Beazer.

Initial tallies from the constituency in box 1 suggest Walker is ahead as ballots continue to be counted following the close of polls earlier this evening.

Walker, a longstanding representative for Barbuda, is seeking to retain his seat amid a renewed challenge from the ABLP.

Counting remains ongoing, and officials have not yet released final figures.
